Mini-Grant Program

The Women’s and Gender Studies Mini-Grant Program is designed to build a vigorous and diverse research, teaching and learning community in Women’s and Gender Studies (WGS) at Iowa State University. Examples of projects eligible for funding include: research, professional development, conference attendance, course development (new and revamped) courses.

Grant proposals are due on March 23, 2016 and may be submitted by Women’s and Gender Studies faculty affiliates. Each applicant should include a letter of support from the department chair or chair equivalent. Guidelines and the application form can be found online. Individual grants will be awarded for up to $1000.00, which must be spent between July 1, 2015 and June 30, 2016.

An impact report is due to the Women’s and Gender Studies Office no later than March 23, 2015.
