The Women’s and Gender Studies Mini-Grant Program is designed to build a vigorous and diverse research, teaching and learning community in Women’s and Gender Studies (WGS) at Iowa State University. Examples of projects eligible for funding include: research, professional development, conference attendance, and course development (new and revamped).Grant proposals may be submitted by Women’s and Gender Studies faculty affiliates. Each applicant should include a letter of support from the department chair or chair equivalent. Guidelines and the application form can be found online.
Individual grants will be awarded for up to $1000.00, which must be spent within one year of receipt of funds. An impact report or presentation is due after completion of the project.
